ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. David Gething
Dr. David Gething is a veterinary surgeon, serial entrepreneur, and record-breaking athlete based in Hong Kong. He’s the founder of Vetrieve Therapeutics, working on innovative treatments for animal neurodegenerative diseases like CDS, with clinical trials planned for 2026. He also founded Vetopia, a leading pet retail platform acquired by the Jebsen Group in 2023, and Creature Comforts Group, one of Hong Kong’s top veterinary healthcare providers, acquired by Mars Veterinary Health in 2022.
A proud graduate of Murdoch University, David holds an executive MBA from Kellogg Northwestern / HKUST. He’s also a published author and record-breaking athlete, having completed feats like the fastest marathon on Antarctica and running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. Beyond business, he is a trustee of Hong Kong Outward Bound and has raised over a million dollars for children in need.
Trilby White
Trilby White is a seasoned business coach and leadership expert with over 25 years of experience in Hong Kong. As the co-founder of two successful veterinary companies, she has demonstrated strategic vision and entrepreneurial resilience. Recognized and a winner of the Leading Woman Entrepreneur award, today, she is the founder of Inicio Consulting, empowering small business owners and leaders to unlock their potential, build strong cultures, and achieve their professional goals.
Trilby specializes in goal setting, accountability, cultural transformation, and leadership development, helping entrepreneurs create workplaces that are engaging, innovative, and successful. Her expertise guides leaders through growth and change, enabling them to turn vision into reality while fostering vibrant organizational cultures.
